Perceived Behavioral Control as a Mediator between Attitudes and Intentions toward Marine Responsible Environmental Behavior

The marine environment has plunged into crisis with the growth of human activities. enhancement responsible environmental behavior (REB) requires policy and education to cultivate social awareness actions sustain resources. Several studies revealed that intention serves as an effective predictor actual behaviors. Furthermore, researchers generally acknowledge attitudes perceived behavioral control are potential factors toward intention. However, some research found a positive attitude does not translate behavior. Additionally, model in context, especially relationships between attitudes, control, behavior, still clear. Students’ intentions (M-REB) were evaluated via questionnaires. data from total 79 undergraduate students analyzed. results suggest is mediator M-REB. This finding reveals benefits reconsidering importance promoting M-REB provides empirical evidence for future policy-makers society education.
